Kerry South 4-3 Cork County 1-9 Kerry South 2-5 Clare 0-5 Kerry North 4-9 Cork County 3-11 Kerry North 2-15 Wexford 1-11 Kerry North 3-22 Waterford 1-2 The results meant that both Kerry South and North qualified for the ‘A' semi finals. Kerry North were first up and beat Cork City well on a scoreline of 6-13 to 1-1. Kerry South were drawn against Tipperary and they won comfortably on a scoreline of 1-15 to 8 points. This leads us to an all Kerry final provisionally fixed for next weekend in Waterford. In Cork, both the Kerry North and South U15s took part in Humphrey Kelleher Football Tournament. Their opening games finished as follows - The Kerry North and South U16s travelled to Limerick for the Munster U16 Football Tournament. In the opening round Kerry South beat Clare but unfortunately lost out to Cork County in the semi-final. Kerry North narrowly lost to Tipperary in the opening game on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-14, so then went into the U16 Shield semi-final, where they beat Waterford 5-13 to 0-8. Tomorrow in the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, Kerry North will play Cork City in the Shield final and afterwards, Tipperary and Cork County will contest the ‘A' final. Well done to all the players, managers and selectors who took part in Saturday's competitions. Best of luck to Kerry North in tomorrow's U16 final and to both Kerry North and South in next week's U14 final.
